Each of the drawers are decorated with a pierced central ormolu keyhole escutcheon with a charming tied ribbon and two berried laurel pulls at either side set on a butterfly veneered tulipwood background and framed in a beautiful charmwood band. The drop front 'Abattan' above displays faux leather books with fine gold tooled writing which opens to reveal a fitted gold tooled leather writing surface, two shelves and two small drawers.
