The ten drawer secretary is raised by elegant topie shaped feet below the straight frieze which displays one concealed drawer. At the front are five drawers and two faux drawers each decorated with stunning and masterfully executed flamed Mahogany designs with the grain continuing and following over each drawer and displaying circular ormolu keyhole escutcheons and richly chased pulls with a fine spiral beaded design. The two faux drawers fold down to reveal a writing surface with its original green gold tooled leather, four smaller drawers, and one shelf.
