I use this as my backpack purse for everyday and for travel. Holds lots. However, there is a design flaw with the top grab handle…the stitching gives way and this was not a problem in its predecessor, which has been discontinued for perhaps two years. After only three months, when the stitching gave way, I contacted the company and they sent me a new one. The same thing happened in about the same amount of time with the new one, hence my conclusion that it is a design flaw. I have had reinforcing stitched by a cobbler and it seems to hold now. This bag needs reinforcing stitching from the company and not something that costs me $20 at the cobbler’s three months after purchase. I never had any problem (owning two bags 11 years from 2007 to 2018) with the similar nylon back pack that Derek Alexander sold before this new design. I would love to see the previous design brought back by Derek Alexander.
