These traditionally made solid brass flower finger plates from Castelion® have a design that is typically Victorian depicting an urn, wheat and flowers. These door finger plates have been cast in brass from a pattern created using an original finger plate which has then been hand polished. The finish is unlacquered as the original would have been. The finger plate, or push plate as they are also known, is used to keep the door clean where one would usually push the door open or closed, so, keeping the wood or paintwork clean.
